RESULTS:
• Gold (Au): 2.65 ppm
• Copper (Cu): 47.3 ppm
Interpretation:
Gold (2.65 ppm = 2.65 g/t)
- This is moderate-grade gold ore.
- Vat leaching is viable for grades above 1 g/t, especially in small-scale operations.
- With proper recovery (e.g. 80–90%), this grade can be economically processed.
That means:
If you process 1 tonne (1000 kg) of this ore:
→ Gold content = 2.65 g
→ At 60/g, that’s ≈ 159/tonne gross value.
Copper (47.3 ppm = 0.0473 g/t)
- This is a very low copper concentration, unlikely to affect gold leaching.
- Copper only becomes problematic when >300 ppm, as it consumes cyanide.
Conclusion:
This ore is suitable for gold vat leaching, with no cyanide interference from copper.
